What do i tell my barber for this type of haircut?

right now my hair is pretty long in a natural shape. how can i tell my barber to keep it like this and just to trim it without altering the shape? everytime i say just trim it it just loooks awkward. i want to keep the shape i have now with just a trim. what should i ask for?
