What can I do to make my Andis Outliner clippers perfom better???

I have been using the Andis outliner II clippers and I want better performance from these clippers. Whenever I get my beard shaved by my barber it is always a perfect shave and it is frustrating since I am using the same clippers as he is. I adjusted my clippers a week ago and alined the blade at the tip and it seems to be performing a little better but not as good as my barbers clippers. When my barber shaves my neck it is results in a perfect shave and smooth neck/face. My clippers are also a bit too sharp on my skin. How can I adjust my clippers so that they perform as good as my barbers clippers?
