A person called me a terrorist?

So today when I went to school today after Osama died a kid called me a terrorist. I am Indian so he said my leader died which I don't know how Indians have anything to do with Osama. I was really mad but I didn't do anything. Later on in the day another kid said that my dad died (he was inferring Osama was my dad) so i said at least I know who my dad is then I kicked his *** and he had to get picked up to go to the hospital to get stitches. Is what I did bad and how much trouble will I get in?
